Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a mix of pros and cons. The rooms are in excellent condition overall, but some may lack air-conditioning and have an odd odor from a fumigating agent. The service is friendly, though there was a mix-up with our rooms. The location is stunning with beautiful landscaping, but the dining costs can be steep. The hotel offers some great facilities to enjoy.
The hotel offers spacious rooms furnished almost like a house with antique Mexican furniture, creating an authentic decor. However, the rooms are poorly equipped and quite far from the main building, making late-night walks to them challenging.
The hotel is located just a 5-minute drive from the lake and is around 1 hour from Cuernavaca and 2 hours from Mexico City. The rooms are pretty good, especially those in the hacienda and some in the back yard where employees used to live. However, they lack air conditioning and have an odd odor from fumigating agents. The location is awe-inspiring, with magnificent stone aqueduct pillars and fountains, but it can be dark in some areas. Dining options are pricey and not of the best quality, although fresh sushi is available.
